Stale.

This was a really boring game to be honest.

Firstly, it isn't much fun when you run into items that give you the power to shoot in multiple directions, killing anything that dares to leave the top of the screen.

Secondly, it isn't fun when it gives you these power ups a whole fucking lot.

Thirdly and on the topic, the screen is also a bit off. For a game like this, the screen is usually suppose be a lot taller not wider. Although, the enemies move so slow it doesn't matter, except for the fact that it's fucking boring.

Now, to be honest again, I didn't play much of the game considering how slow it was.

Unbalanced weapons, done to death concept, slow enemies and stale setting doesn't make a good game for me.

Yes!

Ah, now this is a good launching game.

The upgrade system is a bit slow for my taste, but this was just so much fun. My only issue with the game is that it could of had some more environments instead of seeing the same three over and over.

Did notice that there was a problem with the medal system along with the game making the site act up, but it seems to have passed.

Weird.

Great game.

Frustration...

When I first played this after reading reviews about how you could shoot for shit and how the upgrades did absolutely nothing, I was a bit put off. However, I thought that I'd give it a chance and ignore all the previous comments and reviews.

*Hint* I'm an idiot. *Hint*

So to counter the whole accuracy situation, I immediately upgraded the accuracy for all of my guns and nothing else. There wasn't a real noticeable difference. Even crouching does absolutely fucking nothing to improve your aim, even when that's what it's meant to fucking do in the first place.

Then the hit detection is pretty off, especially if you fire a burst of lasers at a little bugger and doesn't die for some unexplainable reason even though you just saw a laser go right through the thing.

However, once I got pass the awful accuracy and hit detection of the game, I found it to be quite manageable. Heck, I was even pushing the enemy back so far that I couldn't even see the generator thing I was meant to protect.

Then the game pulls the biggest fucking dick move on me by having a flashing message on the screen saying that the generator was being attacked. So I'm forced to walk, of course you can't run, to the base with a growing number of enemies behind me. And of fucking course it has to be one of the ones that spawns an infinite number of enemies and that takes some time to kill only for more to pop out.

So I get to the base, only to find out that I just fucking boxed myself in, considering that you can't jump over the larger enemies. If I can't do that, way is there a jump button in the first fucking place if it isn't useful?

You can;t go through them either since you get pushed back.

So I died and immediately close the window to the game never to play it again.

Broken and frustrating.

Try fixing it.

My God!

The graphics were beautiful and the gameplay was solid but for the love of God would you fix the Boss.

It has almost no pattern, it just pops out of randoms sides of the map with almost no warning.

It's almost impossible and you need to be damn lucky.

When his mouth is closed he's lining up to attack the opposite part of the cave. i.e. Flies across bottom with mouth closed, attacks top.

Are you kidding me?

Wow, you have to register and buy a continue opinion.

Just wow.

Considering there isn't a continue opinion, who's going to keep playing when they die on the 40th wave. They'll just give up because it isn't worth it.

There isn't a story to drive them forward or even anything close to a goal.

You just kill zombies.

Oh, and of course you have to pay for the actual good guns also.

Nobody is going to pay for these features for a game, let alone a flash game, which is at beast decent.

Also, when you unlock a room that you've been waiting to unlock for around 10 waves, you'll just get screwed over with the amount of zombies that come out.

Ugh.

This game isn't worth to spend your money on.

Mother of-

When I first started playing this game, I was having a great ball of fun. The shooting was riveting, including the rag doll physics which were just a joy to watch. However, once I got to certain levels in the game, I found my first problem with it...

First off the controls are just...sloppy. At first you may not notice them but in later levels they just bit you on the ass. For example, when you're walking around you somewhat slide on the floor which can screw you over if you're trying to make or land a jump.

However it's ironic that you move so freely when you're trying to stop when you're stiff as a board while you're jumping. Sure, you can argue with me that I should have read the instructions or something along the lines but NOBODY reads the instructions they want a game to pick up and play.

So, sSay I have no clue about this little change to what would be a common videogame basic and say I'm trying to make, what should be, a simple jump. I make a jump realizing that I didn't need to jump in the first bloody place, only to find my self helplessly falling to my death and having to struggle through the many, MANY, enemies with rocket launchers.

Speaking of that, the enemies with the rocket launchers are pretty much death if you don't kill them first or if you have a wall between you, because I can not tell you how many times I've died from getting killed by getting hit against the wall with those things. Now, if you survive getting hit by the first rocket that flung you towards the wall, then don't worry, another one will be heading for you're ass.

If I cold describe this game in one word it would be 'Frustrating'.

Sure it's fun at first but the controls get in the way of the fun and the later enemies that can killing on sit are much help either.

....

Another thing that pissed me off were the lack of chackpoints. Sure the first levels are easy but the later ones...

Christ, the fact there aren't any checkpoints just adds to the frustrations. At least ONE in each level would help ease some anger considering most of the time ii isn't your fault if dumb luck doesn't happen to be by your side.

Fun at first, but frustration ensues...

Holy shit!

This is most likely going to favored flash game on newgrounds for a long time.

The gameplay is just so different from recent flash games it's just amazing. The concept is cute and doesn't shove it in your face.

Everything is just great about the game, although a few more levels and enemies would have been nice this is still an incredible game.

The missile mini-game is probable the best part about the game.

Ugh...

There are SO many things I hate about this game.

The game extremely picky about pixels touching each other...alright that's fine. Have multiple things on the screen that may delay your movement...alright I can dig it.

But putting an object on the screen that people wouldn't consider a threat is just fucking stupid!

Better yet, the game has the nerve to have a fucking timer just to make the game even LESS fun!

Why add a timer? Almost every time someone adds some sort of timer mechanic to a game instantly ruins it, as it forces you to gun it making you mess up constantly.

Really, the graphics are great but the gameplay is just God awful. I like a challenge but seriously why should I keep playing this annoying game?

And I got to the sewer level till I quit trying.

TmsT responds:

You're right... You sure do hate this game.

Yep.

Ups and downs...

The biggest problem with this game was the difficultly curve.

Most of the time the difficulty was piss easy considering how fragile the people and their so called "castles" were.

Seriously, I only had to throw one bloody boulder on most of the stages. Along with the whole game conveniently giving you a very over powered weapon to destroy a castle that would SEEM to be indestructible, but is just as fragile the others.

I've only had a problem with one or two stages but a small amount of think had to go into it. The only real challenging castle in the game was the last one.

Now, one would assume that making the roof crash on them would work right? Nope, makes it even more difficult to take out the little princess.

Frontal assault, perhaps?

Pfft, no that couldn't possible - Oh, hey it worked.

I tried to find an actually strategy of beating the last level, including trying to collapse the roof on their tiny heads, but I just ended up throwing my bomb clusters in a quick fashion and I won...in two tries...

Woo...

The game was amusing at first, fun even, but without any challenge to the game, you don't get much satisfaction of beating it. It doesn't help that if you win you get to make your own castle which would probably only amusing someone for about 10 minutes or so.

However, going back to the first few levels and just destroying them with your bombs is quite amusing but only only just as it'll get boring quickly.

The idea of trying to tip something over by throwing something at it has grown old but with the added items it's changed up a bit.

This game was fun while it lasted.

Wow...

This is one of the most challenging puzzle games I've ever played...

And I freakin' loved it.

Not only was the gameplay unique and simple but there was actually a story to the game whether players saw it or not. Just seeing the scientist walk around in a worried manner and even seeing him seemingly cry once or twice in the background of the game is just amazing.

It isn't until the satisfying and touching end of the game that it all makes sense.

I can't really see any problems with the game. Although the graphics chugged slightly even on the lowest setting and with a new laptop but other than that this was a great experience.

Might give a go at those extra levels.

P.S

To those who say that the last level is impossible, it isn't. It's not so much about what to do but timing. Knowing what to do in it is easy, pulling it off is harder.

I just started to learn about HTML and other computer software in my Computer Programming class which is very nice. However, I don't quite know anything about Flash but I plan to.
