Bit of a mess...
When I first started the game up I noticed something bizarre about a few of the controls.
That being the attack button.
Why the hell is that up there when the action button is below it? It get's kinda awkward to handle when you have to have your hand consiantly clicking the little arrows in the dialogue boxes; Would have been a bit better to just have the action button do that considering that's what the action button is bloody meant for. Making the attack key the S key would help a bit.
(Although I have a laptop so that can be excused but think of the little people.)
Problem solved!
Now moving on to the actual game...
When I first, I got first simple platforming to do. Now, I noticed another little tick I have with the game and that's the character constantly sliding about. Sure it isn't annoying NOW, but when you have to jump on small little platforms it can get a bit annoying.
Then I run into another little problem.
I talk to the old-woman-thing and she's wondering if I want to learn how to throw knifes. Why would I need to know, ther was a tutorial on the first page of the game? So I say 'no' yet she still fucking teaching me something I already knew from the beginning of the fucking game.
That's just pointless. If I don't want to learn something so trivial then I don't fucking want to.
Then if that wasn't enough the game pulls another one. After I die after trying to vigorously kill a bouncing apple with my knifes, I'm then suddenly in what seems to be a small town.
...
Alright...
Then I try to find were I was in the first place.
Ugh.
Really, all there is to do is to grind like fucking mad if your ever going to want a chance of beating the game and I simply don't have the patience for that and the fact that grinding is the most unfun activity of gaming witch ruins half of them (Like this one.)
I could mention alot more about the gameplay but I won't bother.
So the gameplay isn't too nic-wait I forgot another thing!
Why is it that when your walking towards another screen you go to the next one when your clearly no where near the edge of the screen your on?
Now that gets annoying really fast since you can't tell where exactly the invisible line is. Half the time I found myself fighting a giant ant only to magical be on another screen with him at full health again.
Ugh...
But I'm just being picking, now where was I?
On yes.
So the gameplay isn't too nice but what about the graphics?
...
As previously stated in other reviews the characters look like they were ripped from Maple Story. Not only that but the monsters make absolutely no sense. I know that it's a game but really.
A giant anger apple that explodes?
Giant ants?
You could have been a bit creative there, might want to touch up on that next update. along with the fact that they don't even match the graphics of the human characters besides the "Final Boss" They look more 3D than anything.
The main character is also kinda badly designed as he looks a bit like an emo...alright maybe A LOT like an emo...
Now if you touch up a few of these minor or and big problems this could be a decent game to waste your time on.
Get luck with the next one. (If you're going to do it.)
